Safety is a very serious matter that THE PARK holds in high regard. All ramps and obstacles are inspected many times during the day to make sure there are no screws, riding surface or debris
All senior park staff has completed their coaching accreditation through Skateboarding Australia and Freestyle BMX and have First Aid Certificates.
Use of helmets is mandatory
Use is recommended for all beginner and developing riders.
It is important participants wear appropriate footwear for skateboarding or riding.
The Park’s Entry Conditions & Rules are designed to ensure the safety of the park’s participants and spectators.
Must not enter the ramp areas. There are designated elevated spectator areas and walkways. We ask parents, friends and teachers remain in spectator areas. This is for your own safety and that of others.
We encourage new ramp riding participants to do Workshops to assist them in learning how to use their preferred equipment more safely.
We also encourage participants to respect Skate Park etiquette. Anyone unsure of skate park etiquette can ask park staff or participate in a Workshop, in which it is taught.
The reason we separate BMX and other sports sessions on the street course is for the safety of participants.
